Vendors, Madison, WI

Last week Thursday, I ventured downtown to the Library Mall on the UW campus to see if there were any food carts I haven't documented yet. Now that fall is coming, the series is more slow-coming. I do however, feel that there is more to find in this city.

Ch-ch-chaaanges!

You might start noticing some changes with emily bee arts...

One major thing, to begin with, I am in the process of moving the blog to WordPress. I will continue to post updates on here until the layout is complete...and will inform you once the blog is completely moved. This site will still be up and running, but there won't be any more updates, so make sure you subscribe to the new site's RSS...once it is there.

I'm redoing the entire design interface, practically...below is an example of what you'll be seeing more!

I'm really beginning to work on a lot of marketing, particularly in the greater Madison area, so keep an eye out for that.

There WILL be a website at some point in time! Once I get most of my main marketing, client resources, and the blog done...that project will happen. and it WILL be a .com....I would guesstimate it won't happen for a bit at least, but definitely keep checking tweets and the blog for updates!

Follow us on TWITTER! The name is: emilybeearts

All in all though, the name is the same, so are the ideas and creativity behind the services I offer. Emily Bee Arts' main engine is photography, but will also provide services in graphic design and illustration. I also plan on continuing to create my own work, and that all will be found on the blog.

**I have been in Madison, WI a full week now. Loving it, especially this time of year. Can't wait to see what else there is to explore, discover, breathe in...and how I can use the city as an advantage to my creative outlet.

Annie, Amy, Erin - Menomonee Falls, WI Senior/Back-to-School Portrait Photographer

This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph three very beautiful and bright young women! This session was originally intended as a senior photoshoot for Annie, but her two good friends Amy and Erin joined in. The senior year experience is incomplete without good friends. These girls were so funny and definitely let loose and were very natural during the entirety of the shoot, which they seemed to enjoy. School starts September 1, this shoot was a great way to have fun before summer ends!

Update: As of yesterday, August 29, I am in Madison. Haven't started work at my part time job yet, but I am looking for jobs in my field and am trying to get to really know the city. I also hope to find other photographic opportunities!

Vendors, Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis, WI

The Wisconsin State Fair was a PERFECT place to continue my photodocumentary on vendors! Such crazy, colorful, structures! Everything there practically is deep-fried and served on a stick. Check 'em out!

Update: Myself and Emily Bee Arts have pretty big news--we're relocating to Madison, WI in a couple weeks! Going to work on establishing a business out there, and the city always has been an inspiration for me--it played a major role in my Spaces for Lease series and my Vendors series started there! Excited to see what else comes of it!

Also, I am living right down the road from this....

The Harter Family - West Bend, WI Family Portrait Photographer

Here are a couple edits from the Harter Family's family portrait session in downtown West Bend, WI. There weren't too many mosquitoes that day, which is a very good thing :)

Amy "trashes" the dress!

Amy is one of my closest friends, she has posed in and commissioned work from me before. She recently got married, and yesterday was her day to wear the dress and have fun without a care in the world and be herself. She had an interest in antiqued, off-color editing--so I got to play with that with a few of these and they turned out great! Such a gorgeous bride!

Nikolas & Jessica

Nik and Jessica are two very good friends of mine. We were all at a friend's wedding a couple weeks ago, and I managed to steal some shots of them being their happy & beautiful selves.
